Gordons Bay, Sydney, Australia

Located in front of one of Gordon’s Bay’s most beautiful beach, this home emerged from an especially close and effortless collaboration with a friend. The project unfolded as an ongoing conversation, a shared process where every decision was shaped together.

From the start, she expressed a desire to infuse the house with Mediterranean touches—not just as an aesthetic influence, but as a way of living with warmth, natural textures, and a sense of calm. This guided the selection of artworks and materials that bring depth, softness, and a subtle coastal sensibility to the interiors.

At the heart of the home lies the “patio”, envisioned as a place for gathering, light, and quiet moments. Designed by her friend Yolanda Contreras, it adds an intimate and deeply personal layer to the project. The courtyard anchors the architecture, linking interior life with the expansive beachside landscape just beyond.

The result is a home shaped through genuine collaboration: thoughtful, authentic, and enriched by trust, friendship, and a shared vision from beginning to end.
